Aug 21, 2011· Gwizard is way off on face mills. I use Sumitomo face mills. I have a 1 inch with 2 APKT inserts. Gwizard says 950 SFM, 3700 RPM and 51 in/min in Aluminum. That is WAY too slow. I run it at 10,000 RPM and 150 in/min all the time. I''m sure it can take more, especially when I use the TSC. Sumitomo says you can run it up to 3700 SFM.
