Oct 02, 2007· Short answer: Get a 220V 3 phase and build a Rotary Phase Converter or get a VFD. The motor is pretty common and cheap for both. You can also get a transformer pretty easy and for about the same money as a "just go out and buy it" motor (either can be had free or nearly so on a "good deal") so you can keep the high voltage motor.
